Tunggu Aku Sukses Nanti – Malaysia Press Meet & Gala Night

A Celebration of Regional Storytelling and Cinematic Collaboration

In April 2026, Suraya Filem Production and Distribution & GSCMovies successfully hosted the Tunggu Aku Sukses Nanti Malaysia Press Meet and Gala Night as part of the film’s official promotional tour in Malaysia. The special event brought together members of the media, industry partners, distinguished guests, and film enthusiasts in celebration of a story that resonates deeply with audiences across the region.
Held at GSC Mid Valley Megamall, the Gala Night marked an important milestone for the Malaysia–Indonesia collaboration film, directed by acclaimed Indonesian filmmaker Naya Anindita. The evening received an overwhelming response from invited guests and media representatives, reflecting the growing appreciation for meaningful Southeast Asian cinema.
The event was honoured by the presence of Raden Dato’ Mohammad Hascarya Kusumo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, symbolising the strong cultural relationship between Malaysia and Indonesia through the creative arts industry. Also in attendance were director Naya Anindita, lead actor Afgansyah Reza, representatives from GSC Movies, media partners, and members of the entertainment industry.
Following the screening, audiences were treated to an engaging post-screening session where the cast and filmmakers shared insights into the film’s production journey, creative process, and emotional themes. The film’s heartfelt storytelling and relatable narrative received warm reactions from attendees, many of whom connected strongly with its themes of ambition, resilience, family expectations, and self-discovery.
As part of the promotional activities, Suraya Filem’s Managing Director, Mr Shures, together with the Tunggu Aku Sukses Nanti delegation, also had the honour of meeting YB Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, Minister of Communications, in appreciation of his continued support towards the Malaysian creative industry and regional cinematic collaborations.
